How far along: 27 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I'm deleting this section.... we'll go with healthy but since I struggle with the idea of gaining weight, this is causing me anxiety. poof...be done category.
Maternity clothes: Most of the time. Today I'm in yoga pants and a normal t shirt...but I look a mess!
Sleep: Not at all last night which is not your fault. Your brother has RSV and was up all night.
Best moment this week: Making progress on the business website and daddy feeling your ballet recital you performed last night.
Movement: A little more this week. Your foot came out of my rib last night which was AMAZING! Lets keep it that way!
Cravings: coffee ice cream
Gender: GIRL! Avery Madison Wise!
Labor Signs: No. Thank the Lord!
Belly Button in our out? In! but the top is starting to turn outward.
What I miss: Margaritas. It's been a r-o-u-g-h 2 days.... you won't understand how much I'd like one until you're 21! haha
What am I looking forward to? SLEEP
Milestones: Apparently you've probably hit the 2lb mark!
Where is the picture, you ask? I'll give you a verbal visual. I'm laying on the couch in a really uncomfortable position typing with one hand because your brother is laying on top of me and this is the only position I can get him to be in without crying. He has RSV and
we're he's miserable. He's in his blue rocket jammies and I'm in black yoga pants and a blue "Stalwart Systems" long sleeve t shirt. I'm enjoying the special cuddle time but I wish it was under better circumstances. I did manage a shower today during his 35 minute nap but have accomplished nothing else today.
Position update: I'm now sitting up and he's sitting on the couch next to me plucking the marshmellows out of the off brand lucky charms daddy brought home from the store... I'm just glad he's eating even if it is only off brand compacted, food coloring died, sugar clumps.
Your wall hanging came in and I still haven't put it up. I need daddy's help and since daddy has mono, I haven't asked him to do much more than rest, drink fluids and eat an occasional meal. I'd LOVE to get it up today before grandma visits tomorrow but we'll see if either of us has enough energy to do it this evening when daddy gets home from work.
We visited a new OBGYN on Monday. The office was very nice, as was the staff. We saw a midwife and I was disappointed to learn that we can't use a midwife (which is the main reason we switched) since I'll be having a v-bac. The possibility of not having the birth experience I was hoping for is becoming more likely. I have to keep reminding myself that at the end of the day, I just need to be happy that we're both healthy and once you're here, just enjoying you and not "how you got here."
Brother is done with his "Magic Stars" and he's back to needing some loving! Love you, Miss A!
